MARINE AVIATION EXCELLENCE
PAST, PRESENT & FUTURE
The Marine Corps Aviation Association (MCAA) recognizes professional excellence in Marine aviation through education, activities, media, events and its renowned awards program. MCAA has the largest aviation-based award program in the country. Headquartered in Quantico, Virginia, MCAA continues the mission of its founding fathers to link the past, present and future of Marine aviation.
MCAA produces two publications for members: The MCAA Journal announces our annual award recipients, gives a year-end summary of significant events, and has articles detailing the chronology of Marine air. The Yellow Sheet is published quarterly, covers current events in Marine aviation, MCAA squadron news and events, and educates readers on the storied history of Marine air and its people.
We are honored to help recognize the achievements of Marines. The 29 Marine Aviation Awards span the spectrum of Marine aviation and recognize Marines of all ranks, who are nominated by their superiors and vetted through Headquarters Marine Corps.
Besides our Annual Symposium in May, MCAA hosts various events, dinners, and golf tournaments throughout the year. A portion of t he proceeds from many of our events help fund historic projects, aircraft restoration, scholarships, and allow us to donate (as a community) to organizations that support Marines and their families in time of need. Please continue to visit our website for upcoming events and news.
